Guest Speaker: Gloria Gilbert Barron
Gloria Gilbert Barron has been trained in the art of ventriloquism from age 7. Gloria was crowned Miss Texas 1982 and Miss America Talent Winner 1982. She was the Miss Texas Pageant Official Mistress of Ceremonies 1983 – 2014.
She performed in the:
* 1984 Olympic Games Pre-Games Entertainment Act
* Miss America Pageant Pre-Telecast Mistress of Ceremonies
* Ronald Reagan Presidential Inauguration: Entertainment Act
She has made numerous charitable appearances including:
* Bob Hope Benefits Mistress of Ceremonies Fundraising Events
* Children’s Miracle Network Performing Act and M.C.
* Cook Children’s Christmas Sing Along Annual Event
* Neal McCoy East Texas Angel Network Performing Act
Performed as the lead opening act for: Garth Brooks, Bob Hope, Willie Nelson, Blake Shelton, LeAnne Rimes, Charlie Pride, Marie Osmond, Ricky Skaggs, Lean Womack, Neal McCoy, Jack Hannah, Vontrapp Family. Gloria was crowned Miss Texas 1982 and Miss America Talent Winner 1982.
