The National Association of Counties’ Rural Action Caucus symposium, a three-day conference, was held in Wise County October 5th through October 7th. Wise County Judge J.D. Clark is chair of this group and was honored to host county officials from all over the United States, including Washington, New York, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Arizona, Utah, Minnesota, Nebraska, Colorado, Virginia, and other states.
The Wise County Chamber of Commerce was excited to support our local leadership during the event weekend. There was huge community support from throughout the county to help make this event a success. J.D. Clark and local leaders give thanks to Decatur Town Square, Decatur Chamber of Commerce, Decatur Main Street, Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, Bridgeport Economic Development Corporation, Decatur EDC, First State Bank, Jump Party Texas, and Wise County Chamber of Commerce for being such great partners on this event.
They also thank the Decatur Conference Center for catering the breakfasts and opening reception, and thank Linebarger and PFM for sponsoring the charter buses.
